Admissions Process

Interested parents may begin the application process online or by picking up a packet from the school office, located at 649 Barr Road, Lexington, SC.

Our application process includes completing an application and a pastoral reference form and, for students entering classes two through high school, obtaining a teacher recommendation. Parents are also required to sign our Statement of Faith. Once the completed application packet, as well as the $50 application fee, is received by Heritage, an appointment will be scheduled for testing. Depending on the time of year, this may be in a group setting or one-on-one. After the testing, an appointment will be made for the parents and Head of Schools to meet. This is to provide the parents with an opportunity to ask any questions they may have and for the school to learn a little more about the family applying.

Once all of this has been completed, the admission committee will meet to make a final decision, and applicants will be notified by mail of the committee’s decision. Accepted applicants can secure their space in the class by sending in a $500 non-refundable registration deposit.

Admission Testing

Students applying to Class Two through Class Eight must complete a school abilities test as well as a standardized test of verbal and mathematics abilities that is grade appropriate. This is to determine if the child will be able to succeed in our accelerated curriculum.
